How much does a new driveway cost?
Most of our driveways fall between £3,600 and £9,000 depending on size, material and groundworks. We publish typical ranges on our pricing section and give you a fixed written quote after a free site survey — no guesswork.
Do I need planning permission for a new driveway?
Usually not. Planning permission is only needed if you use an impermeable surface that drains onto the road. We build to SuDS drainage guidance as standard (permeable surfaces or a soakaway), which keeps most jobs permission-free. We’ll confirm for your property.
Do you take a deposit?
No deposit is taken until the work is booked in, and we never ask for large sums up front. You pay on completion once you’re happy, with agreed stage payments only on bigger projects.
How long will my driveway take?
A typical driveway takes 3–8 working days depending on the surface and groundworks. Your written quote includes a firm timescale, and we keep you updated day to day.
Are you insured and guaranteed?
Yes — we carry £5m public liability insurance and back every job with a written 10-year workmanship guarantee. You get both in your handover paperwork.
Will you make a mess of my garden and road?
We sheet up and protect your property, keep muck-away tidy, and clear the site every evening. At handover the area is swept clean — tidiness is one of the things our reviews mention most.
